What the Bible says:
For in this earthly body we groan, longing to put on our heavenly body.

What the Bible Says:
Remember that you were separated at that time from Christ, … strangers to the covenant of promise, having no hope, and without God.
(Ephesians, chapter 2, verse 12) |

Something’s not right here. We all know it. We all feel it. Somehow, this world is not what it’s supposed to be. This can’t be all that there is. This can’t be as good as it gets. Something’s not right here—we just know it. |

There shouldn’t be all this pain. Too many people, including us sometimes, suffer way too much. All this pain isn’t right—isn’t the way it’s supposed to be.

There shouldn’t be all this evil, either. September 11 proves that evil exists, that there are evil people who do evil things. That’s not the way it’s supposed to be.

To be honest, sometimes we do evil things, too. And that’s really not the way it’s supposed to be. But it is that way.

The biggest thing that isn't right is that I shouldn't feel so separated from God. If God is there, and sometimes it sure feels like He's not, but if He's really there, we shouldn't feel so distant from Him. We should feel closer to Him. We should feel like we're part of His family - but it rarely, if ever, feels like that. And that's not the way it's supposed to be.
